Stayed here two nights on business. The room was adequate for a short stay. Not sure I would want to stay in this style room for a longer stay. It was a bit cramped with a queen bed plus a single bed along the far wall. Hanging space in the small wardrobe was very limited but there were lots of coat hangers which makes a nice change. There was a kitchen at the back of the room and a dining table and three chairs. Fit out in the kitchen was pretty basic - only two saucepans for example - but there is a full size stove and oven so presumably you could be cooking full meals if you had the equipment. I thought the utensils etc were pretty light on. It maybe travellers planning to stay here any length of time drive up and bring what they need with them. There is a microwave and a very small bar fridge but no mini bar
The bathroom in my room was extremely small but the shower stall is roomy enough. Two of my work colleagues and myself all thought that the water pressure in the shower was not that great but another of our group thought it was very good so maybe we just got bum rooms. Also we thought that there wasn't enough hot water but the lone dissenter among us thought that the hot water was plentiful. We think maybe he stole all of the hot water as he stated he got up at 6am, well before the rest of us. Who knows
The thing I didn't like was the bed. Not just that it was too firm for me but it also made this horrible creaking noise whenever I moved or got in and out. The pillows were also the horrible "flat" things with no support or give. I slept reasonably well the first.night but only because I was so exhausted after travelling most of the day from other points in Australia. The second night the firm bed and inadequate pillows did nothing to help me sleep and, though I was still pretty tired after long all day meetings, I tossed and turned and could not get comfortable.
The bed thing aside, it's a.nice enough place and I did see that there is a very large swimming pool area which looks like it might be pleasant in summer. I didn't get to find out if the resort had dining facilities as we were eating out in many of the excellent eateries Mansfield has to offer
