You have to expect to pay for the sort of high end cuisine you get here. The menu reflects the produce grown here, such as a rolled rabbit entree - superb and even little portions of Jerusalem artichokes. You can get truffles for a premium too. The presentation of every dish was as artistic as the tastes were balanced. I haven't been to a one hat restaurant for years and, yes, it is worth the money spent. Both the waiter and sommelier were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and certainly don't have that horrible air of superiority you get in some city establishments. They were very busy on the night which meant we had to find our own coats on leaving. But overall, well done to everyone, especially the chef in particular, for a fine dining experience. As we come to Healesville every year we will definitely be back for further gourmet experiences.
