Such a special spot! Beautiful views and absolutely everything you need for a relaxing time away, lovely small touches that just make the place perfect! The owners went out of their way for us to have an enjoyable time- including driving us to a local restaurant when we waited over 2 hrs for a taxi -thank you so much for making my birthday weekend so special & we cannot wait to come back!

These cottages are perfectly located less than an hours drive from Heidelberg. Our cottage was well maintained with the most beautiful views toward Healesville and Yarra Glen. The entire wall of glass doors open up making the most of the indoor/outdoor space - great way to enjoy a glass of wine. Continental breakfast was plentiful as were books and magazines that could be accessed.
Woke up both mornings to hot air balloons floating not too far away. There are a number of wineries close by and we enjoyed lunch at Tarrawarra Estate which was just 5 minutes away. We stayed for 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: We were in the Pinot room which was middle of the 3 cottages and it was great.

We arrived in the dark and were amazed in the morning with the fabulous views. The photos match the reality of the website. Our check-in and check-out was very easy and no fuss and our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. The cottage is very well set up and then more with extras in the pantry and refrigerator. We loved the wood fire - very cosy on a freezing weekend and reverse cycle heating for back-up. We would love to go back in the warmer months and enjoy the view and outdoors from the decking. We were extremely grateful to Lydia after we left some coats behind after our stay as she happily took them to Melbourne for us and dropped them off at our hotel. Many thanks for a beautiful stay and fabulous service.

Apparently it's obvious where you should go in a location you've never been too- who would have thought?!! Slightly abrupt owner! Lots of signs around of 'what not to do' my particular favourite was 'please do not move the furniture' which was very disappointing as I often like to re-arrange furniture on a relaxing night away. Needless to say we hid them all to avoid being silently berated. Beautiful location, amazing views and accommodation was immaculate....P.S I moved the sofa 10mm to the right

Great location and a wonderful place to stay. Very enjoyable. If your a Hot Air Balloon fan , they fly past most mornings as you will notice when you roll over and enjoy the valley views from the main bedroom of Villa 1.

A great bottle of their own wine was presented to us on entry and was very tasty but note to Outlook Hill staff , please make sure the wine glasses are spotless. I held mine up to the light and was a bit surprised.

Thankyou for having us and your pups greeting us each morning at the door was a warm reminder of home. Very friendly :)

Room Tip: Villa One was great

We stayed in cottage no 2 'Pinot' on Outlook Hill Vineyard & Cottages. These well appointed little cottages are the perfect location for discovering the Yarra Valley and still enjoy some seclusion. Located down a long private driveway and on the top of a Hill they have a fantastic view straight off your private deck. The cottages feel very private and are perfect for enjoying some peace and serenity.

The interiors are decorated well and there are a lot of nice touches that makes this a very pleasant stay, such as fluffy bathrobes and full size bottles of Shampoo and Conditioner. The breakfast provisions were plenty and the owners left a bottle of local wine for us to enjoy. The informal check-in and check-out process means ultimate flexibility. This is a very special place to stay and enjoying breakfast on the private balcony while watching the sun come up behind the cottage or enjoying some local cheese and wine in the evening after a full day out are truly priceless moments.

We will definitely be back next time we come to the Yarra Valley and we will tell all our friends about this very special place as well.

Room Tip: We stayed at cottage no 2 "Pinot" and loved it, but I think all spa cottages are similar i...

This little gem is the closest you will ever get to being in Provence - the views from your own balcony- sipping a glass of champagne or a wine from their winery is bliss. This review is not just from this trip but after staying here for a number of times. We could not imagine a more special place to be. The hospitality shown by the owners is excellent - the units are very well mantained and serviced. The location is just out of Melbourne and central to Healesville and Yarra Glenn and surrounded by many vineyards and very good restraurants. Great value for money. Highly recommenable.

Room Tip: The cottage rooms are the best.
