A serene and pleasant stay

We spent three nights at Myers Creek Cascades and it was a lovely, serene and peaceful spot. Silverbrook had beautiful views of ferns and tall trees and was nice and secluded. The outside light which could be turned on at night time and enjoyed from the spa was a lovely touch!

The accommodation was spotless and attention to detail was high, including the tea lights, bowl of gourmet chocolates, yo-yo biscuits and plunger coffee. The fresh bread and bowl of oranges to make fresh juice was very much enjoyed, and I would definitely recommend the gourmet breakfast hamper, the price of which would be probably cheaper than eating out as a couple for breakfast, most likely more delicious, and definitely more relaxing as it means you don’t have to leave the comfort of the cottage!! With board games, a DVD and CD player (with a selection of DVDs and CDs on hand) and a kitchen replete with all your cooking essentials (foil, clingwrap, salt and pepper, butter, oil...) if you feel like cooking and eating in (Healesville Coles is not far to travel), it was like a home away from home! James was a very discrete host, and of great help when needed.

The only downside was that I prefer a firmer mattress. Apart from that it was all in all a very enjoyable stay.

Such a beautiful location and the attention to detail on presentation of the cottage and attending to every need was outstanding, from chocolates and bubble bath, to the room heated for our arrival and the fire built and ready to be lit. Jan and James have found the perfect balance between ultimate privacy and ensuring we were wanting for nothing. Would definitely love to go back and would recommend highly. A great location only a few minutes from Healsville. Jan and James also organised us a wine tour which was fabulous. This is probably the best place i've ever stayed!

Room Tip: Dreamwood Cottage was stunning and the best location of the four cottages, as it is higher and more...

My new wife and I stayed in the Treetops cottage as a wedding present from my new brother-in-law and, honestly, we couldn't have been happier. The seclusion up in the hills, the ability to let us cook our own breakfast, the beautiful layout of the cattage was all perfect. Thank you for a wonderful night away, we will definately be coming back and also recommending you to others in the future.

We have searched for a romantic and relaxing place to unwind and we have finally found it here. The beautifully designed cottages are in the heart of the bush so you feel completely alone loved the spa! Pure bliss such a short drive to get to Victoria's best secluded hideaway. We went into the town centre a couple of times but couldn't wait to return to our cottage

Room Tip: You will have a holiday to remember

We will definitely go back. The facilities were fantastic the location was unreal. We especially enjoyed the views while in the spa, it was an experience that will be remembered forever. We loved every minute of our stay. The hardest part was leaving wish we had planned for a longer stay.

Turning onto the road that leads you to the cottages you know you have chosen the place to stay towering trees guide you along to silverbrook where your key is in the door and the heating is on. There is a stocked wood fire, heat lamp and heated towell rails double shower with soft luxurious towells in the bathroom huge spaa surrounded by tea lights that is overlooking a waterfall and ferns, from your bed which has beautiful linen and comfortable pillows you look up to a sky full of stars. There is a wrap around verandah with table and chairs provided to soak up nature-they have floodlights in the outside ferns so that at night the incredible foilage can still be viewed from inside. The kitchen has an oven, gas cooktop, microwave,dishwasher- there is salt, pepper, nonstick spray foil paper towel etc you may wan't to bring provisions as we found we didn't wan't to leave.Large assortment of dvd's available complementary. Healesville township is only a 5minute drive with a large coles and some fantastic eateries we had a delicious lunch at the Healesville hotel of Duck and Salmon both$23-. Mocha and Lime for brunch a large cafe with book shelves(books for purchase) lounge chairs couches a massive fire and all food in house prepared with 5 senses coffee(wish there was a place like this in Yarraville). The drive to Marysville is 30kms of winding tree lined roads really beautiful.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend away at Myers Creek Cascades. We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary somewhere private and special and this place ticked all the boxes. We stayed in the Dreamwood cottage. Upon arrival everything was set up. What makes this place special is all the little extras. From the Yo-Yo's next to the coffee pot. To the fresh bread left for you to enjoy for breakfast in the morning, to the little chocolate love hearts left on the coffee table, the tea lites all around the place for you to light if you wish and lets not forget the bubble bath left on the side if you wish to add it to your spa. Everything has been thought of. There are four cottages in total but they are designed and set out that each are very private and none looks on to the other so you feel you are up amongst the trees and ferns all on your own. All have been decorated beautifully. The area is surronded by wonderful winerys if you so wish to go out and adventure but once inside one of these cottages you will not want to leave. We will definitely be back - maybe in winter so we can light up the fireplace !

Room Tip: We liked Dreamwood because you can watch the TV from bed.
