We were told dinner was served from 6-8, so I asked for 7:45 and was told that was too late, so we went at 7:30. A huge room with no atmosphere, no music and only two people - soul-less. The menu was limited but I chose the safe trout with Hollandaise sauce. It came smothered in sauce, looking quite revolting. We just laughed about it. The girl serving had no knowledge at all of wines. At 8:30 four people came from outside to eat and were shown a table. Clearly the lady I had spoken to about the table had hoped to have an early night. A take-out pizza in the room would have been a more appetising evening.
