Family banquet. We had one long table for a large gathering and had a great night out.

Food was fresh and plentiful. Bread and dips, sardines, calamari, saganaki, lamb and baklava.

All good, fresh and generous.

4 of us went and had 3 entree, 3 mains and 3 desserts (we like sharing) and with drinks it came to $230. Normally we can go to a nice place and spend $150 - $180

Had been to different Greek a few weeks prior in sandringham and that was much nicer. Here the calamari was just okay, the whitebait was cold and tasteless and the size of the seafood platter was smallish

The winner was the dessert though with the balaclava and the Turkish delight ( yeah I know it not Greek)

Overall we have crossed this of our places to eat, you can go much nicer and cheaper food in Frankston

Though quite expensive, the seagul does not dissapoint in the flavor stakes.
Entree of dips, bread, and baby octopus was simple but good and the mains were prawn saganaki and lamb souvlaki.
The souva was nice and salty with the standard garlic undertones of any decent Greek meal. I'd go again.

Seagull Greek Taverna does not look promising from the outside and I was not dissappointed. On entering the restaurant before I had time to register the dated
decor and dire need of revamping, I ws assailed by an unpleasant smell of cooking.
At this point I should have suggested to my friend that we go elsewhere. Nothing got better, the table was greasy, the food at best was mediocre. Describing the food as mediocre is me trying to be positive somewhere about a place I am sure never to visit again.
