We often go to the Mornington Peninsula but this was our first time staying at Quarters at the Flinders Hotel. Flinders is a lovely little village with great shops selling high quality homewares, clothing, antiques, chocolates etc.
We were upgraded at check in by the extremely friendly and efficient front desk staff and our room was new, spacious and very comfortable. Attention to detail was evident everywhere in good quality bed linen and furnishings, bathroom products and T2 tea.
Despite the fact that the finishing touches to the building were still going on around us, it was very quiet and relaxing. After a fire alarm was set off the next morning, the continental breakfast included in our room rate was upgraded to the cooked breakfast option which was appreciated.
Dinner next door at The Deck was very enjoyable and we actually ate there two nights as Terminus wasn't open mid week.
Just a short drive to Red Hill, Sorrento etc, this is a great base for discovering everything the Mornington Peninsula has to offer whether its wineries, restaurants, golf courses or beaches.
