“Just "ok"”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

It wasn't exactly what I was expecting. There actually was nothing "Dutch" about it. The service was slow, but the staff was friendly. The food was good, but nothing special. I had the salad bar, which was very fresh and a good variety. The homemade soup was tasty. My husband had the Veal Parmesan which was average at best. It was a bit pricey for what we got. We were just passing through so I'm not sure we would have a chance to eat there again, but if you are local, I suppose it beats fast food.

“A Huge Let Down from all the Reviews”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

Was looking forward to the "Best; Wonderful; Great" food all these reviews mentioned. I must of went to the wrong 'Little Dutch' restaurant. The Calf Liver was nothing to write home about. Taste like something you would get in a hospital or nursing home; no seasoning. The Beef Tips were a joke. I truly think it was "round-steak" with white cooking wine, chopped mushrooms and green onions poured over it. The fried mushrooms and horseradish sauce were good as was the media salad bar. The soup, bean and tomato (I think) was okay but again needed salt and pepper for flavor. I'm just wondering if most of these reviews being from Morristown are friends with the owners and just don't want to hurt their feelings.

“Cornerstone of Morristown”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

This is a wonderful restaurant for couples, families. This restaurant was here when my husband was a little boy. My late mother-in-law wrote a letter about the restaurant on their 50th anniversary and won a trip to Gatlinburg. They have a scrapbook of all the letters and pictures over the years. She always took the kids Christmas shopping and to Little Dutch when they got their tobacco check. There food is delicious, the salad and soup bar wonderful. Desserts, this is a Greek owned restaurant can we say delicious!

“Wonderful, Downtown Treat”

If you are looking to get away from the chain restaurants and want a wonderful meal that is not diner-ish, you will love The Little Dutch. Steaks are great and the tortellini is "to die for".

“Morristown's best”

The food is always good, the staff is great. The best place to have a nice quiet dinner after a stress day at work.
