“It was wonderful, very enjoyable”
Reviewed April 8, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Was located very close to my elderly relatives. That said, Elizabeth & Doug were very friendly& welcoming. Could not have been happier, even if we had chosen to stay with elderly relatives.

Would you recommend this hotel to a friend?   Yes.

“Excellent peaceful place”
Reviewed April 4, 2018 for a stay in November 2017

My partner and I had a fantastic three nights at Liz and Doug's pavilion during the Melbourne cup long weekend. If you see yourself enjoying a pit fire under the stars while you cook your BBQ, with the sunset on one side and the moon coming on the opposite side, contact with nature, scent of gum trees and soil, wandering in the garden and among fruit trees, feeding deers and chickens and having a couple of warm and attentive hosts: this is the place for you. Liz and Doug were wonderful hosts. Ideal for kids to play around in a safe and full of nature environment. The pavilion is very well set up, full of light and has a private deck where we had all our meals. The sound of the wind in the trees and the birds were a relaxing complement to the experience. The location is perfect, a few minutes driving from everywhere, whether you like to visit nurseries, wineries, eateries, or beaches. There is also plenty of areas to walk without using the car and enjoy being in touch with nature. We will definitely go back to stay and/or say hello (when we are in the area) to Liz and Doug.
