Came across a new (for me) Thai Restaurant in Croydon, while out walking the dogs recently and convinced my husband to have a meal there. We chose a week day and were the only sit-down customers in the restaurant, even though they seemed to be doing a roaring trade in the take-away side. We chose dishes that we usually have in order to make a fair comparison. The satay sticks were pleasant enough but the sauce was a little dry and not enough to go round and the small spring rolls seemed to be the same as the ones I buy from the supemarket, I will eat them at home but when I am paying for them at a restaurant, house made does usually comes up trumps. My mains was Red Duck curry, also tasty but nothing out of the ordinary, and I swear there was MSG in the meal, my husband had Pad Cha with mixed seafood, he said he enjoyed his meal. The service was polite and swift accompanied by that signature Thai smile, prices are reasonable. I'v eaten better, but also much worse. Licensed and BYO wine only
