Doyles is a must to visit a fresh seafood restaurant while in Sydney. A family owned business for years this restaurant right on the beach at Watson Bay is an ideal trip across the harbour in a ferry, lunch with seafood caught by Doyle's own trawlers right out of the ocean & onto the plate.
Doyles is so confident of their fresh seafood they even offer you a free 2nd plate. It's impossible to eat as your 1st dinner is so much.
If you would like to see some of the northern parts of the harbour you can catch a bus from Sydney & travel along the shoreline taking in the sights of King's Cross, Edgecliff, Double Bay & Rose Bay then finally onto Watson's Bay. The Gap is where you catch the bus back from so you get to view the Heads at the top of the hill where all the ships enter the Harbour.
