I booked Yanada for my wife and three children for a week just after Xmas in 2013 and it was fantastic. It was great spending time in and around the pool as well as the main house. The extra rooms in the retreat allowed us to invite some friends to stay a few nights and the magnificent dinning area gave us a lot of space for friends and family to sit and enjoy each others company. We had beautiful bush walks around the property and down to the local river. BBQ's on the veranda and movies on the big screen in the meditation room were enjoyed by everyone. Our special thanks to the owners for making the stay easy and memorable.

I'd organised a getaway with close friends to unwind and enjoy each other's company over food and a few bevvys. Yanada was the perfect backdrop for this getaway weekend! Plenty of space for everyone, even with a few extra friends who dropped by for lunch of Saturday! Thanks to Lewis and Curt for opening up your fantastic rental to us all!

Room Tip: you can't really go wrong with the room selection!

We had a great time at Yanada. It was perfect for our group - 10 adult and 12 kids. The kids were able to use the downstairs meditation room as a performance space and video area. The large kitchen and open plan dining/living area were just perfect for everyone helping with meals. The area is charming and the leafy outlook is gorgeous.

Room Tip: We had the Love Room, which was great for 2 adults and 3 kids as it has its own bathroom and is very...

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this property. Plenty of space for five couples and all our kids. All modern amenities, including lovely meditation/movie room underneath main living area. Location is peaceful and secluded.
Highly recommended.

I visited Yanada for the first time last weekend with my partner and our two toddlers.
Having never visited this area just the other side of Wiseman's Ferry we were taken aback by how beautiful and 'rural' the countryside is after only a short drive from the city.
Lewis and Curt, the proprietors, have done a wonderful job of creating a warm, comfortable and inviting environment at Yanada. The roaring fire was also a nice touch on a winters day.
We were given great food and really made to feel at home.
We will definitely be visiting again, hopefully in summer when their new pool will be completed !!

this is the most beautiful spot and Lewis and Curt the gracious hosts. the ferry ride transports you into another world of relaxation. the ultimate getaway. the accommodation is fresh clean and so comfortable. Wide open living areas and fantastic dinner , plus excellent company. we were the only couple staying and we had a ball Lewis and Curt made our trip. Thank you for a fantastic stay and we will be back.

Room Tip: all the rooms have fantastic views and the veranda goes 360 degrees so every room feels larger.

The drive from the ferry boat to Yanada sets you in the mood for what is ahead, beautiful small valleys, farms and green hills.
The house is very large and spacious, that could easily fit 3 family's. The grounds have green lawn and great for a picnic or to pull out a chair and sit in the sun whilst reading a novel. The property is private surrounded by tall gumtree's, the grounds sweeps up to a mountain top with virgin bushland (great for a bushwalk).
I loved the spacious movie room with a very large screen for viewing movies, the wrap around balcony with seating in different areas, which gives different views of the wiseman's valley depending on where you sit and privacy away from others should you want this.
Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and has its an open plan you never feel your away from the group, even the views.
Will defiantly be back to explore more of the area as its a world away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney yet easy to drive to. Curt and Lewis are very accommodating and sweet-natured.

Room Tip: there are 6 bedrooms to choose from all seem comfortable (after talking to travel mates)the beds are...
