Daves has two rooms, the "tavern" room being in the back. The space back there is small, with seating capacity of perhaps 35, and that would be tight. There's a tall overhead door, now closed for winter, that, I think, opens to outdoor dining, which would add a sense of spaciousness. There's also a small bar with seating.
I had the fried green tomatoes appetizer and the smoked salmon and goat cheese quesadillas. VERY tasty. Others in the group also commented very positively on their dinners.
They advertise 100 bottled beers and 10 taps, but also have full bar service. I had a pint of a locally (Tullahoma, TN) brewed porter, which was very good.
Excellent, overall, and much more than I would expect from a quasi-rural exit on I-24. Proximity of University of the South at Sewanee probably helps.
