The owners and chefs in this restaurant consistently create wonders in their kitcen. Husband and wife team, Parimal and Prahtiba - take special delight in cooking authentic and delicious Indian food for their diners. They are particularly well versed
in the ingredients and cooking process of their dishes and will
gladly talk to diners about each dish and some of the traditional
culinary and social customs associated with theim. They have even adjusted meals to accommodate individual preferences and dietary requirements. My favourites are the Samoosas and Bahra kebabs (lamb marinated in yoghurt and cooked in the Tandoor oven) for entree. All items in their main course selection are delicious - but our favourites are the dahl, chick pea curry and the korma. I don't often have dessert but when I do - the "kulfi" (rich ice cream) is yummy ! Most of all,
both Parimal and Prahatiba are delightful hosts in a cosy and
beautfully presented piece of India - in the suburbs!
