Really enjoyed my visit here, and was not let down. An extensive yet easy to choose from menu from authentic Japanese dishes made for a good night out.

Service was excellent, food served promptly. and likewise my favorite Japanese beer was available also.

The fact you can BYO is also a massive plus.

Tried the Gyoza and Chicken Teriyaki and was not let down. Definitely the best Japanese restaurant on the North Shore for me.

Simple but beautiful arrangement of the environment in the Mino of North Sydney.

I had dinner out there, although I am not really a great fan of japanese cuisine, most particularly the Sashimis; Mino restaurant fortunately does offer a wide variety of choices in the menu for cooked dishes.
The beef Teriyaki is simply sublime. As entrée do ask for their salad; you'd find that no where else & it is simply delicious.

The soups are awesome; don't forget to try their alcoholic beverages!
Bon appetit! :P

Never been here before and decided to try it. Glad we did! Food was lovely although it was really busy so it was a bit slow to come but the staff were massively apologetic and offered us some free tempura! 3 courses and a bottle of red for 2 people $88 which for mosman is not bad at all. I would advise booking though, we only got a table because it was after 8pm. Food is really nice and staff are lovely.

This restaurant is really great & we go there several times a week. BYO & licenced. The food is amazing. Please, do yourself a favour - try it. If you have be never had fish cheeks, try them here. No bones & fantastic flavor & the sashimi is to die for. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Tell them Mr Daryl sent you!

Mino is a small unassuming restaurant with fabulous food. We chose the Kaiseki $59 a head menu which you need to pre order. Be warned if you aren't a big eater, there's a lot of food. Of course you don't have to eat everything - we did because everything was so delicious and we felt very full afterwards. IThey do offer a smaller $43 a head menu. Ingredients were high quality, presentation lovely and the service attentive. On a Saturday lunch time the restaurant was fairly quiet, decor could be improved but it is the food you visit this restaurant for. I have recommended this restaurant to a number of friends and we will certainly be returning.
