We booked and paid in full for this apartment on 6th January 2017 for the coming NYE period, but the host/booking agent cancelled on 1st December, 28 days before our arrival date in Sydney. L'Abode Accommodation Specialists, the agent, sent a message after 5:30 on Friday night, stating the host required an additional $250 per night. After we booked the apartment back in January, it has been booked on a different web site, so our accom was cancelled only now, with the final explanation of 'due to a double booking'.
The most confronting part of this whole incident, was seeing how much the cancellation upset our children, who have been looking forward to this special trip to Sydney with their cousins from overseas, to view the Sydney NYE fireworks all year.
I would not recommend a booking through L'Abode Accommodation Specialists.
