As it says in the title, great selection of beer and good food to go along with that. Nice place to sit on the balcony on a nice weekend and watch the world go by. A bit too bright at night time which makes it feel like an RSL rather than a cool pub but that would be my only negative.

Thank Chris B

Had lunch there with my husband for the first time today - sadly I think it will be our last. I say sadly because the decor is nice and fresh, the booth/corner table where we sat was comfortable and had a really nice outlook and the place holds so much promise.

The service is almost non existent. We watched as table after table left in disgust or out of utter frustration. One patron vocally made a point of saying that there was no one in charge and no one to even complain to which was so true. Even getting a menu was a challenge and people were wandering around trying to find them.

I ordered a coffee that came out cold, in a cup without a saucer or a spoon. Our cutlery was handed to us without a serviette as an afterthought well after the food had arrived. Getting salt and pepper was another case of better off trying to find it yourself . We watched as drinks, both hot and cold would be made and put on the bar while the waitresses - all uniformly attractive with accents that would be more at home in the Nordic regions of Europe walked past without noticing that they were there. We actually timed one coffee from being made to when it was noticed and finally delivered and it was over 5 mins. (Probably why mine was cold!)

The food (once we had utensils to eat it with), to their credit was nice - it was simple, but tasty enough.

On a whole, the food quality is definitely not worth the angst and frustrations of their appalling lack of service.

We went for a brunch and while we waited for friends ordered a coffee. The manager at the time seemed very stressed even though there were not alot of people in the restaurant.
He returned to ask us to repeat our order (for 2 coffee's !!)

Although the food was enjoyed, one of our group did not get the special order she requested.
Nothing special about this place other than the location, food average and the service poor.

We had a great lunch here. It's location is brilliant, just across from the beach. Murray's has its own brewery, so there's a great selection of beers available, but try the Apple Thief cider, clean and tart. Lovely.
Food was delicious. Beer battered flat head and marinated chicken salad, while relatively straightforward meals, were done with care and attention, light crispy batter and perfectly cooked chicken. Not the cheapest pub meal you'll have, fish and chips $24, but here in this location that's par really.
Definitely worthy of a few beers and lunch on a Sunday afternoon.
