Nice bar facing the ocean, that does great cocktails, with even better happy hour. The staff are good, the breakfast and evening meals are passable, but not brilliant. Nice for a date, or just a drink by yourself or a coffee wtching the world go by.

Like the subject heading, one of the best coffees in Manly. But the barista talks to you like you are mentally challenged and the menu is so tiny, there is really nothing to eat. Get rid of the attitude...seriously.

Manly has a good selection of small bars but this one takes the award for best cocktails. Been here many times with friends and family and the service is always excellent. Bartenders are knowledgeable and can recommend a cocktail for anyone's palate. The "Improved Whiskey" is the best!

Good selection of $5 drinks for a couple of hours in the early evening.

Amazing view, quirky menus. Didn't try the food, but some cheap eats were included on the $5 happy hour menu.

The cherry on top of my visit to Manly.

We went to Hemingways for breakfast on a Thursday and at 10am they said they couldn't do scrambled eggs any more, only fried eggs... Wtf? I went for the mushroom breakfast with two extra fried eggs. What I got was a tiny bit of toast with two giant old mushrooms and the worst rubbery eggs I've had in my life. When I saw what my mates were having I realized how they do it. They put everything in some cast iron pan and then chuck them in the oven. No cooking skills involved. My eggs were just reheated and thrown on the plate. Pathetic food, average coffee and a bunch of rude waiters pretending to be nice by calling everybody 'sir' and then rolling their eyes when they think no one is looking. Poorly maintained menus and extremely dirty toilets. It's supposed to be a cool place but it's just a cheap looking overrated place serving supermarket food at five star hotel prices. Keep looking, there must be a better place in Manly, for breakfast at least.
