I booked accommodation through booking.com for several staff staying in Sydney.
The hotel and rooms are very shabby, smelly, old and deteriorated with flaking paint and wall paper.
A staff member's visit which was cancelled previously, was requested to paid by the front desk, after being told that this was communicated with the manager previously, my colleague received a brusque, 'well he's not here today!'...
One colleague's room toiltet was 'dismantled' with tools lying around it.
I need to reconcile the corporate credit card - I have never received the paid invoices for the stays, after making at least 4 phone calls, and 3 emails. I keep getting told when I ring that Jarrod (Manager) will do that, and send them to me, or he's not in today, he's in tomorrow after 2pm. I call then, he's not available, I leave another message to call me, I get no call back. Disgusting. I would avoid booking.com too, they're as pointless as a chook with teeth! You can't pay for accommodation (though they want your cc details), only book?? wotif.com = much less stress!More
