Had a disappointing fish and chip lunch at an outside table. Location is fine - it was sunny and warm and this would not have been our first choice had it not been for the ability to sit outside. The fish seemed mushy and overcooked and the supposedly tempura batter was thick and crunchy rather than delicate and crisp. Chips were average at best and the glass of Sauvignon was beyond poor. Not a faulty wine, but one that should never have been made, and certainly not one that a self-respecting restaurant should choose to offer. There were plenty of seagulls, and one walked over a nearby (empty) table, watched but undisturbed by a disinterested waitress. It eventually flew away, presumably in search of better food. One to avoid - there are lots of other choices in Manly.

Advertised as fresh seafood however none of it is. The wait staff were friendly however the manager was rude. I would say they are only still in business as they rely on tourists due to their location as nobody would go back twice. None of the items on the menu were locally caught! If the food tasted ok then it could be fine however it was rubbish...which is why we started to ask about where the fish was caught. There is great seafood in Sydney...please avoid this place like the plague.

Had lunch here in December before Christmas while visiting on holidays! Man who appeared to be the owner treated his staff very very poor! However staff
Were fairly good! Dealt with one young man! Wish I knew his name.. Very friendly & welcoming! Probably the best service we had while visiting Sydney! Would come back again if he served us! Probably needs change of ownership to make this place amazing! It has a great location! Food was yummy! Not sure how fresh the seafood was but nether the less was fairly good value.

Poor service poor food. Dropped a meal on my girlfriend as well. It's a pit . Location is only positive thing. Owners are a disgrace. Type of people gives it away...if you get my drift.

Wanted to get some fish and chips and this place is by far some of the worst I have had. Everything was very bland, the "tarter sauce" was actually creamy Italian dressing. The vinegar was really weak white vinegar. But don't worry at least it's expensive. Avoid if you have a choice.
