Had a disappointing fish and chip lunch at an outside table. Location is fine - it was sunny and warm and this would not have been our first choice had it not been for the ability to sit outside. The fish seemed mushy and overcooked and the supposedly tempura batter was thick and crunchy rather than delicate and crisp. Chips were average at best and the glass of Sauvignon was beyond poor. Not a faulty wine, but one that should never have been made, and certainly not one that a self-respecting restaurant should choose to offer. There were plenty of seagulls, and one walked over a nearby (empty) table, watched but undisturbed by a disinterested waitress. It eventually flew away, presumably in search of better food. One to avoid - there are lots of other choices in Manly.
