“Okay but nothing to rave over. Not worth a second visit”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

I've only been to one other Brazilian churrasco restaurant so I was very excited by the idea of going to Bah.BQ but left feeling rather disappointed. Our group was not offered any seafood though there was plenty being taken around. Chorizo was offered once at the very end of the night after everyone was full. When I was lucky enough to get a surface cut the smoky BBQ flavour was exquisite but more often than not I got a dried out tasteless piece that I just left on the plate. I did enjoy the cheesy bread but it was a bit doughy. The waitress's were lovely and very helpful. The waiters seemed disinterested and not very convincing in hiding it. One person I assumed to be the manager looked angry whenever I saw him. If you like sausages then you'll probably love it as they seem to be the main fare. I liked the decor and other people seemed to be enjoying it. Perhaps we were sitting in the dud seats? I won't be back.

“Way over rated”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

The service is very friendly and good but there is no atmosphere but more importantly the food is terrible. From the pan de queso (cheese filled bread) which was very rubbery (obviously straight from the freezer) to the overcook meat, cheap pork sausages and deep fried bananas nothing was like a proper churrasco.

“Way under par”
Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

Im shocked that this place doesnt hava any poor reviews mind you only 11 all up, right we booked here as a table of 12 for our best mates birthday, been blokes and the birthday boy himself loves meat we thought this would b great weve been to other churasco places before,
Food-rubbish trying to get us to fill up on cheap tasteless sauaages first, coming to the table with a skewer full of cheap frozen iqf u15 prawns and only offering one each is a joke, i could go on and on about how bad the food is compared to other churasco places end of the day i should be leaving full instead we all left hungry and bored of sitting round for a slice of a sausage like peaseants,

Service-clumpsy the same waitress knocked things atound twice, the manager was a tool it felt like the whole night they put a hold on our table even the 6 petit girls were hungry and annoyed that the service was what it seemed taking the mickey, they just made it to obvious they were trying to suck money out of us like leaving a bottle of wine on the table when u walk in etc, because it was such a big table when one person orders wine leave it up that end of table dont pour it in everyones glasses as if to say buy more,
Restaurant- no atmosphere, toilets are worse than jail, back street with no nice view, alot of empty tables, on a thursday night a decent restaurant should be able to full up maybe not turn tables but atleast fill once,

Overall we jumped in a cab after dinner went to a classy bar in the city had some nice drinks in a cool enviroment and were happy to payfor it,with no bloodsucking leaches in your wallet,

Advice- rather than tring get peoples money and make everyone uncomfortable make people comfortable with genuine service good food from the go and money will come once people relax.

Oh and what u didnt know is that u were sitting on the table with alot of people that all work in some of the citys top restaurants wecould all see your amatuer tricks a mile away. Wake up guys.

“Great value, good food and service”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

We went to this restaurant for lunch and it was our first visit. We were greeted by a friendly host. He advised us to try the Churrasco, which is basically a variety of roasted meat, from beef, pork, chicken to prawns. I was very impressed by the quality of the bread and cassava (part of entrees) and they are definitely on my next visit list. The quality of the meat were excellent, and the serving is generous. It's really good if you area meat eater. For us, we don't eat much red meat, but we still like the food.
