Found restaurant on Entertainment book app. If you did not know it was there you would miss a wonderful experience. Loved the open feel of the restaurant , rather small but love that I could literally see, smell and feel the beach. Wait staff was friendly and accomodating even when we asked to move tables when one came available as wanted to have an uninterupted view. We had stuff zuchini flowers and dips and bread for entre', which was tasty but have zuchini flowers was a little too crispy. We ordered the steak for main, which was well cooked but need bigger plates to enjoy. Would definately recommend this restaurant and when we back in Cronulla.

Went there for lunch and ordered the salt and pepper squid. It came out stone cold, served on a bed of McDonalds fries and with an awful pickled cucumber salad. The squid batter was pale and the presentation of the meal completely unappetizing. The squid was also over cooked, it literally shattered when I attempted to saw it in half and was tough as old boots.

My dining companion ordered the chicken Caesar burger which was also overcooked. The bun was dry and over toasted, the chicken overdone and chewy.....the location is lovely but I won't ever eat here again considering it was overpriced and you can get much nicer versions of the same dishes from a take away shop in the mall.

The location of this establishment is great (you can almost touch the ocean) but that's where the greatness ends. Some of the waitstaff are lovely. Other's are very ordinary which makes the atmosphere less enjoyable even with the gorgeous views because service can be either great or absolutely terrible.

The bowls of chips were exactly like McDonalds fries. I expected nice fat chips but it really was fast food quality fries. One person on our table had the crab which was delicious. The fish and chips were nothing special. The salad had too much dressing all over it despite us asking for the dressing on the side. The menu is pricey for the quality of the food in most cases.

When we were seated, it was 10.40am. The breakfast menu was still going (until 11am). When we asked to place an order at 10.50am, we were told we couldn't do it until after 11am because they were getting ready for lunch. Then the waitress didn't return until almost 11.15am to take our order which could have been done nearly half an hour before hand. May sound petty but we had three little kids (5 years old) with us that we had to entertain for another 30 minutes for no reason. Can't you just take the order and put it in the kitchen at around 8 minutes before opening of service for lunch. The chef is there anyway, doing breakfast. It was strange way of organising the change over, and seemed very inefficient and not customer friendly at all. At a cafe style restaurant mid morning, you wouldn't expect to wait half an hour to simply place your order.

You also have to pay $2 each for the kids colouring in paraphernalia, which of course you have to buy if you're ordering is delayed so significantly. You get the exact same stuff at Northies down the road for free.

The location is great. Second to none really. But for food, service and value, there are better places to eat in Cronulla.
