Nice homy French restaurant. Love their pork dishes. My mother in law loves the lamb brains. The decor is bit dated but service is nice and friendly. We go there at least every month.

Where do I begin describing the disappointment.
They might have considered putting 4 thin slices of garlic bread on a small dish instead of a big basket which looked half emptTy. Our entrees were chicken vol au vent and snails. The naked snails (sans shells) came swimming in butter with no bread; the vol au vent was a 'deconstructed' style, chicken and mushroom sauce served over the top of a tiny, stale, packet vol au vent case. The frozen type.
The $34 mains were Duck l'orange and Filet au poivre vert. The duck was a miniscule sliver beneath a fatty, soggy duck skin with a sauce that flavoured the fat not the flesh. The eye fillet was a perfect medium rare, however the meat through the centre was inedible unless you were a piranha and the vegetables served on the side were a selection of potatoes, broccoli, carrots and corgette all under cooked and with no seasoning or anything. "Shut up n eat your greens" Finally the buttermilk panna cotta served with "fresh strawberry coulis", was firm jelly served in two shot glasses with a cotties style strawberry topping with instant cream and a stick wafer.
We were very hungry and would have eaten the crotch off a low flying duck had it been passing, so the insult was ingested.Should have read the writing on the wall when the reservation was taken by Rajid; or the waitress repeating the order back to us as "poulettt" not poulet (poulay).
The owner graciously sported an interested look as we offered our feedback however proceeded to hand us the bill with no reflection of remorse and offered us another dessert for our dissapoinment. Unacceptable to offer a second serving of a turd to replace the first one.
In summary, food poisoning would have been preferable! The feverish delirium might have erased the memory!

The title says it all. Booked online and was surprised to get a confirmation by telephone in less than an hour. We were welcomed on entering and shown to our seats straight away. The dishes we ordered were presented well and tasted delicious. The service could not be faulted. One to revisit.

This is a delightful family owned French restaurant a stone's throne from the Novotel and Botany Bay in the Brighton-le-Sands area of Sydney and a short taxi ride from Sydney's Kingsford-Smith International Airport. We have visited there on two occasions and both have been memorable for the genuine kindness shown to each member of our family and for the wonderful French cuisine. The escargots were a first time treat for our ten year old son, who had been longing to try them for ages. I enjoyed the filet mignon and my wife enjoyed the duck a l'orange. You can get a great meal for four for under AUD200.00, which I think is excellent value for money.
