Stayed in this hotel for 1 week because my usual hotel did not have any availability. The hotel in convenient as it has on site parking and breakfast is available from 6am, which is now becoming rare at most other places. Whilst the check in staff were efficient and I did not find them personable. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the furnishing are becoming just a bit dated.

All in all a good hotel for an overnight stay for business.

Having frequented the local Hills cafes for breakfast, we decided to give Whispers a try this morning. High Ranked Hotel should have a great breakfast right?.
Sadly, our $30 per head amounted to nothing more than a poor offering of selections from the buffet.
The organics bar had two offerings of cereal; two organic jam jars with very little in them; and the organic antioxidant juice container consisting of nothing more than cranberry drink, not juice, and was empty. During our time there, no one came to restock any of these items.

The cold foods section had yogurt that had started to separate and was swimming in water.

Hot foods: scrambled eggs with little taste; frozen pommme noisette's instead of the advertised hash browns; bacon that had been baked in the oven & over cooked and not separated out of the bag so it was one large piece that could not be broken up; dried out cooked mushrooms; tinned spaghetti.

The "fresh" fruit selection had the usual Rockmelon, pineapple, honey dew and watermelon. The watermelon was cut into small cubes and was bruised and swimming in it's own juices - not exactly appetising.

The bakery goods were small danishes, by the time we got to have one, there was only one left and the mini muffin was surely the stock standard choice from Woolies. You know the ones, the blueberry mini muffins with the paper on them.

It wasn't until we were finished 30 minutes later, that any of the staff approached us. By that time we just wanted to leave. In short, a very poor experience and never to be repeated.

My advice; there are other eateries in the area, not that far away, and get value for money.

The restaurant takes me back to my traveling days where hotel restaurants lack atmosphere. The hotel & bar is fine, but the restaurant is nothing special & unfortunately the food lack any thing special. The hotel specializes on accommodation only. Go to local restaurant instead

You are best getting your meal on the way to this hotel as the food here will disenchant all but most hungry guests.

Efficient check in. Very neat and clean room. Excellent staff within the hotel and always happy to greet and assist.
The reception staff eager to help. Asked for transport to city and got every piece of information with time table etc.
Free Internet access at ground floor available.
Many other restaurants with. In reach in few minute walk.
Will be back soon.
