We spent $75.00 on 3 tacos, a chimichanga and a taco salad, and all was absolutely horrible! What a waste of our money. Save your money and do not eat here.

I had lunch at 1:00 p.m. on a Friday - the place was empty except for a table of Russian gentlemen who were drinking shot - after shot - of tequila, and a table in the back with one of the staff's children. The service was curious as every time my waitress either took my order or asked me if everything was OK, another waitress did the same. Service was fast, but the food was average - it was sustinence - nothing more and I thought the prices were somewhat high for a restaurant of this type. My analogy is that of a Mexican restaurant in an airport. You get average Mexican food, served quickly so you make your connecting flight. You don't expect more, and you certainly don't wind up telling your friends, "If you're ever at O'Hare, I can recommend the BEST restaurant."

The menu had lots of variety, we enjoyed everything we ordered. There was a reasonably good children's menu as well.

We arrived as a party of eight and sat down in a large straight table. The ambiance was nice and most of the staff was cordial and friendly. The tables seemed a touch cramped for the space.

Once we ordered our drinks, the bar drinks came out over 10 minutes before the waters, and soft drinks. I personally ordered the house margarita on the rocks, which was good.

We next ordered some appetizers, and dinner entrees. For appetizers we shared the nachos and guacamole, and both items were okay. The dinner entrees took quite a long time to come out. In fact, someone at our table ordered a taco plate and asked for two chicken and one fish taco. At the time our meals should have arrived, the manager came over and asked if they would change the fish one, otherwise they would have to cut one filet and two pieces would go to waste. I was shocked that the manager did this!

We had two children with us and ordered them each the chicken tacos. The chicken was marinated and had a spice on them. Both kids would not eat the tacos...what a waste, the tacos for children should be plain, or we should have been told that they are marinated.

I had the skirt steak and chicken fajitas. They were good but definitely NOT worth an hour and twenty minute wait.

Our waitress was very kind and friendly but seemed overwhelmed all night. Our waters took a long time to refill, and it also took quite a bit of time to get napkins.

The food was so good! They brought out some nachos with their homemade salsa first. So yummy! Very Filling. The service was great and the staff is so friendly. I would recommend this place for sure!
