My family of four stayed here. We really enjoyed it. The room was nice, clean and perfect for us. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful with the exception of our lunch on the deck.
Our waitress saw us but took 15 mins to come over and greet us. When she did she was rude and didn't even acknowledge everyone at the table. My husband never even got a drink, she brought our food and didn't even pause or ask the two new people at the table if they wanted a drink. Her service and attitude certainly did not match the rest of the staff we dealt with, hopefully she is let go soon!
A special shout out to the beach staff, who go out of their way to make your beach time extra special! A wonderful, relaxing, stay...just what we came for!

Very budget room for not very budget price for 200$ night could have stayed in hotel twice the space and comfort. Filthy, expensive, very rude staff. Do not book for tour I payed 90 dollars when I spoke to manager Harry Hawkins he said he will refund my extra charges, he never did.Not recommended!"

We stayed in this hotel . Location is good . When arriving it took us long time to check in, room is ok . Cleaning the rooms was bad . They never check for adding the consumed items in the kitchen. Not adding enough towels . Their was a hidden cost for the usage if the beach. Car valet barking is a headache , hotel front desk staff are poorly trained also having under training staff most of the time at the front disc was difficult to deal with. I found it so difficult to deal with the hotel reservations and the front disk and the hotel management , the head concierge was the best person in the hotel. Also the beach staff. Other than that our stay was ok

Thank you for your important feedback which you shared on Trip Advisor. We are truly sorry about not communicating properly our fee structure. Our resort charges a daily fee, rather than charge individually for High Speed Internet, Local Telephone Calls, Fitness Facilities, Beach Chairs, and Umbrellas.

We will be sure to let housekeeping know to be more careful in replenishing items utilized in the kitchen. On a positive note, we are glad your experience with our concierge and beach staff was pleasant.

Your review will also be shared with our entire team, as we do with all Trip Advisor Reviews, so we can take steps to improve our resort for the future.

We stayed here for 3 nights in late March with 2 young kids (3.5 yo and 8 months) and it was a great disappointment. Our room had a number of issues: the door to the washer and dryer kept coming off track and the door would swing out of place and with two young kids it was an accident waiting to happen. After taking a shower, I pulled the curtain back to have the entire curtain and rod fall on me (lucky it wasn't our kids in the shower/tub). The door to the balcony was extremely difficult to open. Our carpet wasn't fully flushed to the walls exposing small debris that my daughter could have easily picked up and put in her mouth. There were cracks along the walls. One of our bags with merchandise with pictures from Disney World was either stolen or accidentally thrown out by the cleaning staff. (We reported this to security and never got any of the items retrieved). We were fortunate enough that Disney retained a copy of our photos and they replaced them for us. As for our items that we purchased on our vacation they were gone. We were greatly disappointed with the manager and the lack of concern they had when we told them of the issues we had with the room throughout our stay.

The highlight of our stay, we did love the staff on the beach and pool. They were extremely nice and great with the kids. My girls loved the pool and beach.

We wanted a hotel in the general area and ended up buying through Hotwire. Marenas was a pleasant surprise. When we walked into our room, we were surprised with a lovely suite. I didn't expect this having purchased through Hotwire- I expected a regular hotel room. The suite was clean and spacious with all of the amenities you could ask for (dishes, full fridge, microwave, washer/dryer). A new paint job could be used in the bathroom and the light above the bed didn't work on my side but other than that, no issues. I suppose if you were paying full price you'd expect more.
The view from our suite was great. Our suite was in the middle of the hotel so we had views of the ocean as well as Biscayne Bay. We found the hotel staff to be friendly and accommodating. There is a $20 resort fee per day which provides wireless and loungers/umbrellas/towels on the beach. $27 per night for valet parking.
I thought the location was great, whereas some other reviewers didn't think it was. It is not too far from the South Beach area but the drive can be slow due to traffic. We checked out South Beach and were glad that we weren't staying down there because it is so busy and loud. We were looking for a more relaxing vacation. The hotel is located near a grocery store, liquor store, drug store and some fast food joints. It is a quick drive to the Aventura Mall and some other restaurants. It is also a quick drive the Sunlife Stadium.

There is a bar/BBQ at the pool/beach. We had lunch for about $25 which consisted of BBQ'd sausages and chips. It was kind of expensive but for the convenience of eating on our lounger on the beach, we were ok with the price.

The only possible issue we had was at the very end when the valets brought our rental car up. My husband noticed some scrapes on the back bumper but of course he couldn't pin it on the valets because it could have happened at the mall the night before although we didn't notice any marks. We're just not sure it was them but were curious.

I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: An ocean front view would have been ideal, but staying in the middle provided a great view of the ocean and bay. Both are beautiful scenes.
