The charm of this casual enclave is in its service and in its food-- both of which are unparalleled in flavor. As the menu changes with the seasons, there's always something special and inventive coming out of the kitchen. On this occasion we devoured a luxurious butternut squash soup and a delicate cauliflower soup decadently laced with truffle oil. The focaccia crusted cod was extremely satisfying and the halibut with black garlic risotto was a sensationally serendipitous experience (Be sure to ask your server how black garlic is made). For dessert we enjoyed a clever concoction -- a brown butter soufflé with house-made vanilla gelato and candied peanuts. Once again, Timo delivers delightful and delicious dining!
