Description: Indian cuisine has benefited from a number of food influences; Central Asia, Arabia, the Mughal Empire, Persia, and Britain have had fundamental effects on the ingredients and techniques of Indian food. The Mughal Empire introduced an assortment of non-vegetarian elements, including kebabs and rich gravies, and promoted the addition of fruits such as apricots and melons. One of the most notable dishes attributed to the Islamic rule is biryani- a dish based on basmati rice, meat, spices, and saffron. Later on , the Portuguese and british introduced the “New World” ingredients, such as potatoes, tomatoes, and chilies- which are now used in many curries, such as chicken vindaloo. In addition to outside influences, Indian cuisine varies from region to region, reflecting the ethnically diverse subcontinent.

Staying at the Trump Plaza across the street with descent restaurant on premise we searched on several sites where to go. We didn't want to go far so the plaza across the street seemed the way to go. We walked up to several places on the plaza but Cooper Chimney was the only one interested in getting us in there doors by explaining the menu and making us comfortable by the hostess. The waitress was great and the food delicious and reasonable. The lamb was great and the doughnut dessert was fantastic. I will for sure come back.

“Great Indian crusine”

The host (male) was fantastic! My husband is a vegan and he was great in assisting us with chosing dishes. He also had the chef create some dishes just for my husband. Their service was great! The food was wonderful!

“Nice music, generous portions”

The environment in a small shopping center is so so and the decoration could be better. The cithar player was excellent and played almost non stop.

We took the Miami Spice dinner at $33. We had first a small salad: Ok but nothing special. As an appetizer, I had chicken and my wife cauliflower. Both were in the same sauce, to the point where it was sometimes difficult to know if we were eating one or the other: it was good but you tasted only the sauce. Portions are enormous.

Then I had fish and my wife had lamb. Again, enormous portions, good but not outstanding.

We could not finish our plates and were unable to eat the dessert included in the price.

Good value for money, if you are really hungry, or want to bring home a second meal for the same price.

Food was very flavorful, without excess butter/cream as many other Indian restaurants use. Service was very competent and hospitable. Nice ambience, but a touch too dark. Will definitely be going back.

We arrived to their restaurant just before closing time, and they gladly served us. (This was after another restaurant stated they were closing, and we were too late to be served.) The staff is incredibly friendly....taking time to thoroughly answer any questions we had about the food. Very good food, very good staff, very good experience.
