Had my first meal at Mex-O-Tik today. I am impressed with the presentation, the culinary flair and the adventurous spirit of the chef, Daniel.
I ordered the chickpea curry and it was delicious with chickpeas al dente, carrots and potatoes, and tangering sections (yes! tangerines!) each of which made for a perfect pitstop as you cruised through the nicely spiced curry.
The home-made chapati was the ideal sidekick for the dish and the jasmin iced-tea made sure that all was washed down in unison.
As a musician I like it when things are in tune and this was one meal that sang in perfect harmony.
