The best thing about Cafe Arte is the service: The woman who served us was friendly and obviously enthusiastic about her job. Terrific! The food, though, was really nothing special and, seeing as this is Mexico, very expensive.
I had mussels cooked with onions. The onions kind of overwhelmed the flavour of the mussels, but the dish was fine.
My partner had gnocchi with a creamy tomato sauce. The gnocchi were hard and tasteless (really poor quality), while the sauce looked like the cream had curdled. The dish didn't look good or taste good. It was really very poor.
Together with a drink each and one coffee, the bill came to 430 pesos. That's remarkably expensive for Mexico and very expensive for what we ate.
