“Average food at inflated prices”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

Went out for a meal here on our first night in Welshpool. I read reviews and thought we would try. The food was overpriced and I would say very average. the drinks are a little expensive too.

“Nice Lunchtime Venue.”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

This is a really pleasant restaurant especially at lunchtime with a really good selection of snacks e.g panninis, sandwiches etc. They do offer a full menu but having never eaten off this I am unable to comment. However if the rest of the food sold is on a par with their homemade chips you will not be disapointed.
Service has always been good .

“Bar Meal”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Greeted by attentive friendly bar man. Waited 35 mins for a char grilled chicken caesar salad and scampi and chips. When the food arrived the chips were nearly cold and the chicken was pale and had not seen the grill, looked so unappertising. Even the waiter made a comment on how pale the chicken was. Both meals were returned and a money refund was given. No apology from the chef. Not the place to eat and will NOT recommend. Maybe the chef should re train!!!!!!

“Good for a coffee”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

Coffee bar is OK...they serve Costa. Restaurant food is very lack-lustre. We had a Sunday lunch....poor, greyish meat & over-cooked veg.
