We've eaten here a few times over the years but I had the steak burger for the first time the other day. It was really flippin good! My sister in law also had it and she totally agreed. Kids were made a fuss of by the staff and the large fire place kept us all cosy. Love the Wynnstay!

After travelling all day and working on route to Machynlleth I was glad to arrive to the hotel. The hotel car park is totally adequate. What a previous visitor said was totally unwarranted, this is the middle of mid Wales not London !!!! they have a car park be grateful !!!! maybe don't venture too far from home if your that fussy !!!

Back to the hotel, had lots of attention, great welcome, lovely people. Room was clean, tidy, quiet, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fancy biscuits, even an iron and hair drier.
I was shattered so had dinner at the hotel. Had the lamb which was excellent after seeing so many that day couldn't resist, sorry !
Wine was amazing, they have a great selection for the connoisseur. Slept like a baby and even with a fire alarm at 7.45am I'm still saying this is an excellent place to stay. At least they have a fire alarm ! I would stay here again !

Upon arrival we were slightly disappointed at the back of the hotel which had ample parking but didn’t look very inviting. But we were wrong. Inside was clean, quaint and cosy, with open fires. Our room was large and comfortable.
The lounge were you could have a drink was warm and comfortable and the restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff were really lovely and very friendly and efficient. Breakfast to was hot and plentiful. If you are in that area it is well worth a visit.

A warm welcome from friendly staff. Plenty of log fires and an excellent menu for the evening meal which was beautifully presented. The rear lounge room is full of character and is well decorated to fit in with the quirky layout of the whole building.

Had some food here last week and I have to say it was excellent. Everything was cooked so well and the customer service was second to none. The staff are a credit to the place. Definitely go back for many more visits.
