Ate there whilst away on business. Nice food, and not over priced. The only downside is, at the time they did not accept card payments - only cash or cheque.

Ate with family a group of 7. The food was hot and we didn't have to wait long. All the dishes were well cooked but lacked a bit of spice and seasoning. The service was ok, but I did watch one of the waiters ignore a couple at the counter waiting to order a takeaway, because he was busy chatting to a customer at a table. However the decor was awful, carpets were threadbear, paintwork chipped and dirty, the light fittings were filthy and the comfy chairs where customers sit to wait for their takeaways were "shiny" and not in a good way. And why do they only accept cash and no cards? Needs some competition.

One of the best value Indians around, the Spinach curries and Rogan Josh are the best.A minus point is big groups will often wait a while for food even if it's been pre-booked.

This restaurant could do with a little competition to 'spice' things up.
Food is average. Not the worst I've ever had but a long way off the best and not a patch on our local at home which costs £15 less for two people than here!
Staff were attentive and polite. The problem is that this a place stuck firmly in the 1980s with plastic bread trays and interior design that resembled a tent somewhere in the desert.
What I really didn't get was the pink raita!
Machynlleth doesn't offer a lot in way of cuisine so there's not a lot of choice between Bob and none. It's OK. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ate here as a family. Decor a bit tired, but food pretty good.

Prices about average.

3 mains, 1 beer, 1 cider, 2 soft drinks £37.....pretty good.

Nothing special, just a good hi eat curry
