If you are looking for superb hosts in a house that is authentic and 17th century, but in excellent condition, in the middle of the Pembrokeshire Coast, this is your place. The house is amazing, with two-foot thick stone walls, with a gorgeous surrounding garden in which you can sit while sippng tea after a long walk.
Even though the house is old, everything works perfectly with blazing fast internet.
This is truly a diamond in Pembrokeshire.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms, and both of them are great.

We stayed here in late April whilst walking the Pembroke Coastal Path and it was first class. Options for overnight stops on the path are limited due to its remoteness so we chose to stay 2 nights at Trefin. Sue and Martyn were excellent hosts. Martyn picked us up on the path near St Davids, ferried us to and from the Shed in Porthgain (well worth a visit) in the evening, dropped us back on the path at St Davids the following morning and even drove us to the nearest shop to buy supplies on the day of our departure. Can't remember exactly how much he charged for all this but it was very, very reasonable.

We were offered Welsh cakes and a pot of tea in front of the fire on arrival. The room was lovely and the breakfasts were the best we had on the entire walk. Martyn is a font of local knowledge and was happy to spend time sharing it with us.

A little gem !
