We (myself and two old chums) were given a very warm welcome by Viv when we arrived here at the end of day 5 of 6 walking part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
The rooms were fine (albeit perhaps a little small for the two of us sharing a twin with large bags) and breakfast was very good.

We have just come back from a stay in Hampton House. It was truely lovely. The bedroom was spacious, and was very well equiped. The breakfast was superb and the atmosphere was really friendly. Viv and Chris did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. Will definitely go there again.

We booked last minute and were really happy with our choice. Our twin bedroom was well equipped and had very comfortable beds--perfect after a long walk on the coast path. Our bathroom was very spacious indeed. Despite being right at the heart of the very small village it is very quiet with no traffic noise, even when we kept the double glazed window open at night.
Breakfast included eggs from their own hens. Our hosts were very pleasant friendly and helpful.
Location a little way up from the really good café and the Ship Inn (for adequate evening meal), really near to the coastal shuttle service bus stop and the footpath link to the coast path makes this a good base for walkers

Thank you very much for your review. We have had the excitement of the Red Bull cliff diving weekend since - I watched the aerobatic display from the twin bedroom window and it was almost as spectacular as being there, but much less noisy! We are really glad that you enjoyed your stay with us.

We stayed two nights and felt very comfortable and welcome as walkers in this nice B&B, happily located in the centre of the village. We enjoyed good breakfasts and packed lunches, and especially liked the brilliant shower in our spacious bathroom and the lovely friendly atmosphere created by Chris and Vivienne.

I had a room under the roof, that was quite lovely and very comfortable. Though the bathroom was not en suite it was for my use only. I've been walking in the rain and the host was extremely friendly and helped me drying all my drenched clothes including my soaked shoes. Breakfast was excellent, the bread served was very good, not the usual white toast.

We highly recommend this B+B: it has many of the comforts you’d want at home (inc wifi), with a very warm welcome, and was spotless. Particularly noteworthy were the bathrooms (good hot showers, as well as a bath in some), and huge breakfasts (including home-grown tomatoes and their own eggs), and the attention to detail in the rooms; a kettle with teabags etc was much appreciated.
As noted by another reviewer, the location is perfect for the Pembrokeshire coastal trail, and the owners are usually on hand to provide info and advice on buses and walks etc., and rainy-day options if you’re unlucky with the weather (we weren’t!) – all extremely useful. You’ll find plenty of local music too - check out The Ship Inn down the road, and more!
Wish we could've stayed longer - can’t wait to go back - many thanks!
