“Cyclist home from home”

Cycled from Carmarthen to Saint Davids and was ready for a rest - Gloria took me in and made me welcome. And Rob's a cyclist too! Ideally situated just above the cathedral, and not far from the only pub in the city. Superb breakfast - set me up for the ride to Fishguard.

Lovely B&B in an amazing part of South Wales. Our room was cozy and warm (important in March), our bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Gloria and Rob were both gracious and friendly, making the stay even more pleasant.

The best B&B I have ever stayed in. Friendly hosts, extremely clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. What more can you ask of a B&B. I will be back.

this guest house is truly right in the middle of the charming town of St. Davids. Our room was quite small, but otherwise everything was fine. The breakfast was delicious and the ambiance was pleasant and friendly. this seems to be a base for many trekkers.

This B&B with its friendly hosts is situated within walking distance to the cathedral. We arrived late in the afternoon, bit still managed to visit the impressive cathredal (2 minutes away by feet) and enjoyed a wonderful sunset.
The room was a little small and the bathroom not the most modern but it was still a nice place to stay and relax. The breakfast was very good with special Welsh mustard (red! and sweet) and we got homemade plums with a taste of cinnamon (delicious).
The B&B has no private car parking, so we had to stay at the public car park one minute away (free of charge between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m.).

My son and I travelled to St.Davids for a week of outdoor adventure activites and spent 4 nights at Alandale.
Gloria and Rob could not have been more friendly or welcoming.
Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The highlight ? As my son said, "the breakfasts were brilliant !"

My wife and I decided to take a long weekend break in West Wales just to relax and get a bit of peace and quiet. And that's exactly what happened and the trip far exceeded our expectations. Due to several hold-ups we were late arriving but that was no problem for proprietors Rob and Gloria Pugh. They immediately made us feel welcome with a warm greeting.
The B&B was clean, beautifully furnished and our room was comfortable with all our requirements met. Our room was on the top floor and had the most amazing view of St David's Cathedral, The Bishops Palace and apparently the sea but unfortunately due to the gloomy weather conditions we didn't manage to see that.
Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and served by Rob and Gloria who were very friendly and professional at all times. They went out of their way to call us after we had left for home because we had forgotten a coat and waited in for us to return.
We really couldn't recommend Alandale highly enough to anyone wanting to visit St David's.
