A very efficiently-run and attractive B&B. Emily helped us with our luggage and explained where we could park in a neighbouring street. Steve, the owner, not only cooks the best omelettes ever but, as a local, furnished us with interesting insights into St David's. The sort of place you want to go back to.

Room Tip: We had a twin-bedded room, which was actually a double and single bed with the neighbouring bathroom...

The Coach House is a period Georgian Hotel in the main street of St Davids. We had an upstairs family room (double room and separate single room with private detached bathroom next door) which overlooked the main street. Very nice ambience and great location. The owners were very friendly. Free car parking was in a parallel street to the South about 3 minutes walk away. Breakfast was most excellent and done to order, although the dining room was a bit cramped when full. Free and fast internet was also a bonus. Highly recommended for a memorable visit to this lovely miniature city.

I don't usually use B&Bs and have always thought of them as a poor relation to a good hotel - this is certainly NOT the case with the Coach House. The owners don't live on site which means you don't feel you are invading someone's privacy but it has the welcoming and cosy feel you would get from staying in a friend's house. I stayed for three nights and felt that the owner, Steve, and staff, really cared what you had got planned for the day and warmly welcomed you back in the evening.

Slap bang in the middle of the city, it couldn't be better located and parking is easy to find. You shouldn't be worried about the usual town centre noise - there wasn't any.

The breakfast is great, from the fresh fruit salad to accompany your cereal, to the great full cooked breakfast (including the blackpudding that only 'proper' breakfasts have!) and staff remembering whether you have tea, coffee or decaf, in my case.

I really couldn't recommend the Coach House more!

What a treat it was to be booked into The Coach House with a group of friends for a walk on the Coastal Path. A cozy common space where we could gather at day's end just added to the clean and comfortable rooms. Steve and his efficient staff gracefully offered what we wanted - a comfortable place to call home supported by professional hospitality for an active week outdoors. They provided local information, answered our many questions, and fueled us with great breakfasts and yummy picnic lunches for our daily walks.

Room Tip: Don't worry, St David's is quiet - even room facing main street was very pleasant and restfu...

We checked in without a reservation and stayed in the cottage. Absolutely brilliant.

Lovely living room with a nice sized bathroom. A great garden outside and the bedroom was cosy and quiet. Breakfast top class.

Great location for local pub and ideal for those who love walking the local coastlines.

We will be back!

We enjoyed our time out at bwlch carte and really liked our breakfasts.in three days I never budged from the veg as I liked it so much but others in our party did try other breakfasts and liked them all. Lovely fresh fruit salad to start. Stephen and staff work extremely hard to make your stay a good one.

Room Tip: We enjoyed staying out at bwlch carte but don't miss the vegetarian breakfast

We went on a very unplanned trip to Wales and found ourselves in St David's. From the moment we walked through the front door we knew we had stumbled upon a little gem ... the hospitality, the room, the fabulous breakfast .. Steve and his staff could not do enough to make our stay special. We will definitely be returning soon.
