This was a really excellent way of seeing the scenery and wildlife at Ramsey Island. We took a tour which crossed to the island, followed by a circumnavigation after which we were put ashore for a few hours and picked up later to return to the mainland. We were treated to close up views of the seals and sea birds around the coast of the island and also observed porpoises during the crossing. The operation was very safe and well lead.

We did the evening tour on a rib which takes around 10 people. It cost £30.00 each and was well worth it. The tour lasts an hour and half. The two tour guides were very knowledgeable about the area and all the different birds we saw. The highlights for me were the puffins and grey seals.

We have made the 'land and around' trip offered by this organisation, which included a landing on the island in the morning and a tour around the island in the late afternoon. The timing offered the possibility for a long walk on this beautiful island, and when we landed the friendly warden gave very valuable information on where to find which birds. The round trip itself was very interesting, too, and allowed for a different perspective on the island, as well as good bird watching.

We have just had a great afternoon on a cruise around Ramsey Island.
The skipper of the boat was more than accommodating taking us into a cave and close up to the cliffs so we could have superb views of the bird life.

We booked on the phone at the very last minute so didn't have time to pick up the tickets from the office, but they had sorted that by contacting the slipway manager to let her know we were coming.

Could not fault the Guide on the boat he clearly loved talking about the wildlife and geology and was very entertaining.

Would certainly go on another trip.

We paddled around Ramsey a week or so earlier, and it was beautiful. We decided to see it from the ground and do the hike. Took the thousand island boat out, their staff were very friendly and professional. They dropped us off at the island and we spent the next 4 hours hiking the entire island and climbing up all 3 high points. It was really neat to see it all from a different perspective. Saw the deer, ponies, peregrine falcon young, and of course the many sheep, rabbits and birds. They staff were fantastic! So friendly, knowledgable and easy to talk with. Would recommend to anyone with ability to do a good hike.
