Awesome trip, seeing dolphins, seals, puffins, gannets and more. Astonishing 'air traffic control' around Grassholm, but not so jaw-dropping that I had to wash my mouth out!! Many thanks (anyway)!!

A fantastic way to close out an enjoyable day. A trip in a RIB out to Ramsey Island and the Bishops with very knowledgeable crew, the RIB got right up close to the islands and the wildlife. Skimming with the migrating shearwaters on the way back was a joy, we were easily overtaken by these beautiful birds even though we got up to 40 knots

We went 2 years ago and saw porpoises on the Ramsey Island trip. This time we did the longer 2.5 hour trip to Grassholm and we saw dolphins and babies.
They sent out 2 boats at the same time and each boat took a different course which maximised our chances to see something, it was the other boat which spotted the dolphins and they radioed to our boat where to go.
Even if we would not have seen dolphins it was a great trip, and well worth it.
The guides are very humourous too.
You can take a dog, but I would not recommend for a greyhound type. Too bumpy and cold for this type. A labrador would be fine though.

Fast boat ride. Great guides. Felt both exhilarated and very safe. Lots to see around Ramsey Island. Loved going into the caves. We had a 2 year old, a 3 year old and a dog with us, and they all thought this trip was awesome too.

This is no way a reflection on the excellent and knowledgable staff and we saw plenty of wildlife in the form of sea birds but let's face it we went for the promise of Minke Whales and were disappointed.

Voyages of discovery do offer other trips though and I would highly rate them for all the humanly controllable aspects of their business.

It was still enjoyable despite the lack of whales in Wales and would recommend to any twitchers wanting to see Puffins, Shags, Gannets, Storm Petrels and Guillemots and plenty more besides, including a couple of remote lighthouses.
