Stumbled across 'Food at Williams' whilst looking for a cash point on a Sunday afternoon. The overall impression of the cafe is both stylish and informal, with bright modern fixtures and fittings but still retaining some of the original features.
As the afternoon of our visit was extremely hot we decided to sit outside in the newly created walled patio, it's a real suntrap and a great place to sit with a coffee whilst reading the Sunday papers.
We ordered coffee and a slice of the pink grapefruit marmalade bakewell tart, a traditional bakewell with a really original twist and absolutely delicious! One slice was more than enough for both of us, from what we saw William's don't skimp on portion sizes!
The staff were pleasant and attentive and dealt with requests from the other customers in a polite and professional way.
Next time we're in Pembroke 'Food at Williams' will be the first place we head for!

The whole family were going to visit the Castle, but the weather turned wet, so we decided to take a little more time over our lunch at "Food at Williams"
The service was excellent, and the owner and her staff were outstanding, we had very young children with us, and we were allowed to have our meals in the very comfortable reception, waiting area, which meant the children could move freely around, any parents will appreciate what a bonus that is with youngsters.
The food and wine choice was perfect for a lunch time family meal, and very reasonably priced, when no chips were available, we were offered Sauté Potatoes which were excellent, a further reflection on the care and level of service on offer at this great little restaurant.

It was a shame that the weather was so bad and that you and your family missed out on your visit to the castle (which is excellent) but I am pleased that you were able to relax over your meal and spend some time with us on the rainy bank holiday. Thank you for taking the time to write your review, it is very much appreciated.

Best coffee and best scones in Wales. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Super coffee. Fresh scones which we were unable to find in this part of the principality.
The food menu also looked great although it was not the time for us to try.

Highly recommended

Thank you for your review, we do bake all of our own cakes and try to bake scones most days but cannot always keep up with the demand! The coffee we serve is roasted and blended locally and I am pleased that you enjoyed it - our training is ongoing and we have almost mastered the 'flat white' which we will shortly be adding to our menu.

Frequently visited in my two week stay in Pembroke. They have great loose leaf teas, try the blood orange! New specials every day that won't break your budget. Overall a great atmosphere and excellent service. If you just want a place to stop and have a drink, sit on the comfy couches in the back and enjoy some good tunes. Definitely would recommend to anyone passing through.

What a pleasant surprise after a dreary walk round Pembroke Docks. This cafe was just what we wanted with an excellent choice of teas and cakes. We loved the friendly staff and the decorations. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Pembroke.
