“Amazing value in Pembrokeshire B&B”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Recently while visiting relatives in Pembrokeshire, we stayed at the High Noon. Outstanding value and remarkable friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. We had a large, pleasant room, very clean. Chris served better breakfasts than we'd had in most cafés, and it was service with a smile. Noticing our halting progress with our luggage - we\re retired people - Sheri actually offered us a ride to the train station. I can't speak highly enough about their hospitality. A much better bet than the overpriced places you find so many B& Bs in this area, yet close to beauty spots like Tenby. Guests are welcome to bring in "take out" for their evening meal if they wish, and there's a pleasant dining area for their use.

Room Tip: There is no swimming pool nor fitness center, but having clicked I couldn't remove "terri...

I stayed at High Noon guesthouse the first week of August 2012 and I had a great experience. I felt in love with the coastal line of Pembrokeshire and also with its people. I personally think it was this warm loving attitude of the people, which seemed natural to everyone in the area, what translated into High Noons' great service, lovely food and cosy atmosphere. Great value for money as well.

I can only recommend highly the High Noon Guest House.

This is the first time I ever take the time to write a review online about anything by the way...

I have stayed many times at High Noon, and have no quarms in recommending it to anyone. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are fantastic. Chris, Sheri were friendly and helpful hosts, who made us feel very welcome. The castle and lake are within easy walking distance and there are numerous shops for any souveneirs.

I definetly enjoyed my stay at High noon. Of course, it's simple, but that includes the positive connotation of the word. There isn't much of a sonic isolation (but no noise after 10 pm, and the neighbourhood is quiet), and don't expect an elaborate decoration; but it's kind of nice as it is, and seemed perfect for a solo traveller (from France). For some reason, I simply felt well there ! Probably because the hosts were really nice and helpful (taking plenty of time for good advice about Pembrokeshire), creating a familiar atmosphere. Besides, I was charged 35 pounds for a single room (fair rates!), except it really was a double so I had plenty of space. And finally, breakfast is good also !

Stayed here when visiting relatives in the area and cannot fault the breakfast which was freshly cooked each morning. Slept well each night as the position of the guest house is in a quiet spot but very convenient for the centre of Pembroke.

A couple of things which would have helped improve our stay would be an extra shelf in the bathroom for our toothbrush etc also the shower in room 9 where we stayed was attached to the bath taps and although the pressure was excellent it was difficult to maintain an even temperature.

We loved our stay with Chris, Sheri, and Louie. They were friendly and helpful hosts, who made us feel very welcome. The location is just outside downtown -- which means it is an easy walk to the castle and lake, but off the noisy main road -- ideal. The breakfasts were outstanding -- choice of numerous tasty full cooked breakfast options means you start your day more than satisfied. The shared common area was large and well decorated. The rooms themselves were a bit spartan, and the heat didn't work in bathroom, but otherwise very serviceable with TV, fridge, coffepot, etc. We strongly recommend, and will return when next in Pembroke.

Stayed here in the family room which is en suite and included a double and single bed. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities which are replenished daily. The rooms are tidied each day and fresh towels supplied if needed. The owners are extemely friendly and helpful, with an extensive knowledge of the surrounding areas...don't be afraid to ask them anything. We would definately stay here again.
