“A good base for walkers”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

I spent 3 days walking the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastal path, and had intended to stay in different B&Bs at intervals along the path. I quickly felt so fortunate to have discovered Treganna that I extended my stay there to all 3 nights. All the facilities are bright, modern and clean. Thanks to the local bus services, it's easy to get to and back from different daily sections of the path. There's a good mini supermarket 100 yards from the house, open to 10pm. Deborah & Colin are relaxed but attentive hosts, and my stay was memorable partly because of their small and unexpected acts of kindness. At £40 per night, it wasn't the cheapest B&B in town, but with such a quality service, was excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We ended up here by accident and we are so glad we did! The room was large, fresh, clean and modern. It looked like it had just been remodeled but we assured it had not been. The bathroom had lots of space, all, and I mean all, the things we would have possibly forgotten. This was good because we needed the toothbrush kit later on. Breakfast was very good. Deborah was such a gracious hostess bringing tea to our room upon arrival and giving us guidance for dinner and sightseeing. The location is also very convenient along a main road into Pembroke. We wished we could have spent more time here. Only drawback; she only takes cash. But there is an ATM literally across the street.

Lovely B&B! We stayed for 3 nights, the room we stayed in was large, airy and comfortable with all the facilities you could need. Deborah and Colin were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming and gave us some great tips for places to go and things to do. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with lovely fruit salad and all the usual B&B options of cereal and cooked breakfast - vegetarians very well catered for as well. The B&B is ideally situated for exploring Pembrokeshire and we really couldn't have asked for anything more, we will be back!

Room Tip: Room 5 is very large and has a lovely view over the garden

We had a great stay for 6 nights whilst we walked the Southern section of the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. It is ideally placed for buses, and we travelled around the region to and from our walks without a car. Deborah and Colin are such friendly hosts, with lots of advice about our walking plans and interest in how far we had gone each day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great bathrooms. The breakfast was yummy each morning, with all the usual food cooked really well with a friendly chat and smile. We would highly recommend this to walkers who are walking from Amroth to Milford Haven using the bus. Pembroke itself for meals in the evening is a gentle stroll away - just what you need to stop getting too achy!

We stayed at this amazing b&b for 2 nights in May as we were attending a friends wedding. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, beautiful, just lovely! The hosts Deborah and Colin are some of the nicest people you can meet, they go out of their way on the smallest of details and requests and they make the best breakfast that sets you up for the day! We would recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed and it's great value for money.

From the moment you walk in Debbie and Colin make you feel so welcome, freshly brewed coffee and home made Welsh cakes on arrival. The bedroom is immaculate, spacious, light and airy and the bathroom is huge - a real joy to have a shower. Wonderful breakfasts in state of the art dining room with excellent local produce, including bacon and sausages. I had porridge some days which was delicious and the there was also such a choice of fruit salads. Nothing was too much trouble for Debbie and Colin and we cannot rate this B & B high enough. Would definitely love to return sometime. Great location for exploring the beautiful Pembroke coast including Bosherton lily ponds, Stackpole Quay, Broadhaven and St Govans Head.
