This was a "special" for Fish Week! The weather wasn't great ....very misty...preventing us having full advantage of this lovely setting and its outlook! Nevertheless it was an excellent evening..... situated in the marquee..... with an abundant and wonderful selection of fine fish dishes....and a 4 piece ceilidh band to follow! We will endeavour to be accommodated there later in the year to rate as a hotel.............but having been there several times on occassions during the early 1980s.........I could see that nothing had change..........except for aging!!!!

HAd a very enjoyable 24 hours stay here recently (helped along by it being one of the rare sunny days of the "summer" so far - this is a very laid back place, a kind of shabby chic some might say - we had one of the Roof Rooms (with fantastic views across the sea and the beach) Lovely food, tasty and differerent and very generous portions. Everyone who works here is friendly and relaxed - no rush is the key phrase and it really does feel like a change of gear (downwrads and healthily so) ...and we only live in North Pembrokeshire!! Some very interesting art there too - we really liked this Hotel a lot and will go again

Room Tip: The roof top rooms are great and en suite (some of the other rooms are shared bathroom)

Unfortunately my guests were not enamoured of the decor in the entrance to the hotel or food presented to them. The crab cakes with rice and salad lacked a sauce or dressing making the food that was eaten very dry. The Tipsy Lamb chops sounded appealing but looked awful on presentation. The wine and beer were excellent.

We booked a table for two at the Druidstone Hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the food/drink was all reasonably priced.

The Bar downstairs was lovely and despite awful weather the hotel was warm and the decor interesting and quirky. We booked a table upstairs to eat in the Restraunt and the food was top notch and tasty. The table was beautiful and unique - the open fires, wild flowers and candles were also a lovely touch.

However - compared to the downstairs bar - the Restraunt was very quiet and I felt that I couldn't talk at ease as everybody's conversations were tumbling over one another and private conversation even at a whisper was difficult. I feel that the Restraunt would of benefited from some background music to breach the silence. Consequently I feel that if we were to eat here again we would be inclined to consider eating in the bar area.

That aside, Druidstone Hotel is a gem.

We came across the Druidstone Hotel by chance when exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline but would plan it into our itinerary next time. We stopped for lunch and spent a relaxing few hours enjoying top quality food and wine in quirky, interesting surroundings. The Druidstone Hotel is totally unique, a lovely fusion of quality and informality.

The menu is exceptional and the food top notch! I can recommend the lamb salad and the spiced poached pear ice cream. The service is very good but it's best to book a table due to its popularity. We ate in the bar downstairs and would try the restaurant next time.

The hotel is set in a stunning location with plenty of outdoor seating for fine weather. It was raining the day we were there but was warm and cosy inside with a vibrant yet chilled atmosphere. Well worth a visit...

We had our wedding yesterday at The Druidstone and I just had to come on here and "shout from the rooftops" how wonderful they were. They were very helpful and supportive throughout the planning process, answering all our questions and accommodating everything we asked for.

On the day the staff were extraordinarily helpful, the rooms clean, the food fantastic, the setting stunning (that view - WOW). We couldn't have asked for better - truly.

The place has a real soul, it's relaxed and genuine, they really make you feel like you are at home. We will be back for many anniversaries to come!

Thanks to all the staff at The Druidstone, we will be singing your praises for a long time!

Room Tip: The roof rooms are amazing!

The food was all home cooked and packed with flavor. the best lamb curry ever! I would recommend this cosy and welcoming pub to anybody it's well worth a visit
