We chose this pub/restaurant having read the reviews and were not disappointed. We received a very friendly welcome and were made to feel at home by our host who chatted to his customers from time to time but withou overdoing it.
We chose 2 mini pies which came with very good chips and vegetables, all freshly cooked. Can`t comment on the puds as we were full with the one course!

If you've ever been to France and eaten in one of those small traditional family run restaurants where the atmosphere is homely and the clientele are locals (indicating how good it is) then this place is the Welsh equivalent.

The family work hard to please you both with service and great food which was presented well and at a very reasonable price. Together with the locals, who made up the majority of the clientele the night we were there, they made us feel very much at home.

Highly recommend you go but it's best to pre-book as they were turning people away the night we were there.
