“Great Indian meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

We have been down to Magor quite a few times in recent years and we discovered quite by accident this lovely little Indian restaurant right in the little village of Magor. Its so informal with all I can describe as an `easy` atmosphere and the staff are so laid back and helpfull even when its packed. It was a breath of fresh air to sit and have a drink and then eat. But best of all course is that the food was fantastic and I've no doubt that we'll be back again.

“Slow to begin with but EXCELLENT after!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

Me and my partner went there yesterday (14-09-12), hes in a wheelchair and found it wasnt suited really for wheelchair users because theres no ramps and inside is quiet small and intimate so can be very snug. When we arrived we got there just after opening hours and service was a bit slow, he was busy answering the phone and getting deliveries out and we waited for about 10 mins plus to have our drinks order taken then another 5 minutes for food....However the main man in a white shirt was really well presented, VERY friendly and chatty, gave good eye contact and the food was delivered so fast and hot as well! No messing around when it came to serving the food up! The food was delicous and well worth the money! I would definatly reccomend this resturant! Plates were taken quickly so there wasnt clutter. I can imagine this busy as it gets later because it wasnt long before people came pouring into the resturant. Loved it - Missing it and would DEFINATLY travel from Bristol to Magor again!

“Brilliant Food and Service!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2012

Booked a table for three on a busy Friday night - 1 adult 2 children - and was greeted by friendly staff shown to a well dressed table complete with an array of pickles/chutneys.

A very busy restaurant but good service.

All had starters and 2 adult special meals with rice and nan plus children's meal from an excellent array of choice from the menu, plus lassi drinks and soft and one beer drinks all for less than £60 - very good value for money.

Obligatory house branded chocolates and sweets for the children, a perfect ending to a wonderful Indian meal!
