Gorgeous cottage, felt welcomed and settled in really easily. Location is Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) so felt it was the 'real' country but had convenience of historic market town of Ruthin close by - home of Patchwork Pate (complete with outlet!), independent bakers and butchers shops but also a Tesco. REALLY good places to eat in Ruthin, check out Manorhaus (I'm sure that's the correct spelling) and 'On the Hill' , a short taxi ride back if you want a drink. Will be going back.

We booked Bwich Cottage for 4 adults and one baby for a Saturday night for a wedding that we were attending in Ruthin. To be honest we were surprised that the owner was prepared to let the property for a single night but were delighted that she was.The cottage was ideal being less than 10 mins drive from the centre of Ruthin with wonderful views and lots of car parking space. The property itself is very spacious with an extremely large kitchen with every fitting that you could hope for- upon arrival there was a welcome pack in the fridge with bacon, eggs and milk amongst other things.. The lounge is similarly large with plenty of comfortable seating. Both bedrooms are of a good size with plenty of storage. The bathroom has a stand alone shower in addition to the bath. The owner lives next door and was very helpful providing both cot and high chair for the baby. The only minor negative is the decoration which could do with being modernised. In conclusion an excellent property to rent and use as a base for touring the area.
Overall a good experience, very good value for money and convenient for large groups.
Both living room and bedroom have a country side view. Fully equipped has everything you need.
Getting there was slightly confusing, but can contact owner or ask neighbours for direction.
Only problem was that there was no hair dryer which can be inconvenient.
Overall very satisfied.

Couple of friends stayed for a weekend night, good size house, well equipped. Complimentary foods for breakfast on arrival. Very clean and looked after. Lovely scenery and 5 minute drive into Ruthin. Definitely would like to stay in the future.
