The homemade cake is excellent, large portions, good value, served rapidly. The bone china tea service you get is nice, you get a decent pot of tea. All good - very friendly.

They make really unusual pancakes filled with things you would normally never dream of. Staff very helpful and attentive. A Little pricey but, well worth the visit. Not easy to park as down a steep hill. So diffcult to get to if you are disabled, as quite a few steps to walk up to get to the entrance.

Been here a couple of times. Always great service withreasonably priced, tasty food. Good for lunches and light snacks. Always very busy so would advise booking beforehand. Limited opening hours so best to check. :-).

The food was definitely home made, very comforting food for winter. For me, I prefer somewhere relaxed and less frenetic. It was very busy and so the tables felt very close together and the sound was bouncing around so it was all very noisy. But the food was good old British favourites, nothing fancy or risky but very tasty.
