Lovely views on the hills, it was beautiful wather so we could sit on the nice terrace outside. Inside it features a nice pub. We were served by a kind waitress. We got fish and chips...tasty!

“Senior Service Menu! Loved it, glad I am a wrinkly!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

We went with friends on a Wednesday to try the two courses for £7.95 Senior Service Menu recently. We had only had a drink previously in the pub part of the building and didn't realise there was such a lovely contemporary restaurant or lovely decking with views over the Vale of Clwyd. Friends and family that had eaten here had said how nice the food was so we thought we would give it a go. There were about 5 choices on the mains part of the menu and four on the desserts. I had the roasted pork loin with gravy, veg and new potoatoes. The pork was VERY tast and soft, excellent gravy, three of us had the pork and we all commented on the gravy. For dessert it was a choice between the Eton mess with vanilla icecream or the choc cheesecake with fruits and raisin and run icecream. I chose the cheescake it was lovely. What a bargain meal. As we left I noticed a large group of elderly ladies enjoying a meal and a family with children busy with colouring books at the table so it suits all age ranges. The pub also has a campsite and two apartments for those who dont want to drink and drive. I will definately be recommending this pub to friends and will return again on a Wednesday. Excellent service, Excellent value.
