We regularly pop in to the Three Pigeons for Saturday lunch. I truly believe the couple who run the pub have got it spot on. Both are hard working and are very amenable. We had lunch yesterday, the 'posh' fish and chips were divine - the best I've EVER tasted. There were other very tempting options on the menu. Well worth the slight detour from Ruthin to Wrexham!

Lovely fresh food nice staff, very hardy( the barman had t.shirt and shorts on in January ) ! Best of all they welcomed our Border terrier with open arms! We have been many times and will be going back very soon.

This place is really great. It is popular and serves good food and beer and has a speacial feel. You can walk on on a cold and wet day and site by afire to warm your toes, or you can go there on a summer evening and see the fine wide views from the elevated terrace over the Vale of Clwyd. Give it a try and you'll not regret it.

Me and my husband went to the 3 pigeons Friday evening.
The food was excellent especially the main course- pork three ways, loin, sausage and belly pork, with mash and a cidar gravy and veg. Absolutely gorgeous could not fault any of the food.
Will definitely return in the New Year.

This family run Inn and Restaurant in a delightful village in the glorious vale of Clwyd ,North Wales has managed to successfully combine the best of a local Pub and Restaurant.Good food at a very reasonable price is served at this time of year in a very cosy atmosphere of oak beams and log fires. The staff are friendly and attentive .The chef was happy to provide an alternative sweet not on the menu and catered perfectly for my wife who is a coeliac .Although it was a busy Sunday lunchtime our meal was served hot and on time and we were able to enjoy our meal at a very relaxed pace. The jolly banter of the locals in the bar added greatly to our very enjoyable experience. We shall be returning.
