Just returned from 2 delightful days at Plas Efenechtyd. Room and breakfast was superb. Garden was wonderful to relax in after a busy day out and about. David and Marilyn were excellent hosts and happy to spend time talking with us and sharing lots of stories. The location was perfect with beautiful views on all sides. We would recommend this B and B without any hesitation.
We recently spent a few days at this most friendly ,relaxing B and B .From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home .Plas Efenechtyd Cottage is a real gem ,tucked into the Welsh hillside.It fully deserves its 4 stars, with a plus! . We had been looking forward to the breakfasts and were not disappointed. Having woken up to the smell of home made bread, we could not have wished for a better start to the day. Marilyn and Dave have a really lovely cottage and are the perfect hosts . Everything was perfect.
This wonderfully peaceful haven was our home for 3 days. We arrived to a warm welcome and things just got better. Marilyn and David have done their homework and got it right! Top marks for the hospitality, friendliness, beautifully appointed rooms, delicious breakfasts, and attentiveness. We had a very enjoyable stay and will be returning soon. Many thanks.
Fabulous B&B set in a scenic paradise. The rooms were excellent, incredibly comfortable and service was second to none. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and the food was truly wonderful- the homemade jams in particular were outstanding. I would recommend it without hesitation and hope to return again in the near future.
If you can find it, this is a very pleasant B&B with friendly owners. The 6 foot bed is a bonus and the breakfast was of high quality. You just hope that you so not meet any other cars on the tiny access roads.
We lucked out when we found this B&B. location was fabulous, breakfast was delicious and hosts Dave and Marilyn were tops. We had fresh baked bread all 3 days with a full breakfast including homemade jams and Dave's award winning marmalade.the eggs were fresh from their own chickens. Marilyn and Dave gave us excellent tips on places to visit and to eat. - even loaning us detailed maps. We have stayed at many B&B's in many countries over the years and only a handful are as memorable as Pla Efenechtyd Cottage. Helen & Graeme - Canada
